Although there are 8 bedrooms, the property is best suited for 10 people or 12 at most. The tables, chairs, and terrace space are not ideal for more than 10-12 people. The lower floor bedrooms are more rustic and better for daytime rest or older children seeking privacy.
Bedroom 8 on the lower level, next to the pool, is accessible only from the outside. It features a small fridge and en suite facilities that can serve as a shared toilet for the pool level.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Gaucin. The house is high-spec and full of charm. The spacious kitchen/living area features large bifolding doors that open onto a wide balcony, and the ground floor remains cool and tranquil. Gaucin, a previously unknown area of Spain to us, turned out to be a real gem. From the balcony, the house offers stunning panoramic views of the village, making it a magical spot for evening relaxation. In addition to plenty of relaxation and sunbathing at the house, we spent our time walking, cycling, and swimming—the house pool is perfect for cooling off—and exploring the area by car. The village boasts several excellent outdoor bars, cafes, and restaurants, and the countryside and fantastic views are truly inspiring. Thomas and Elizabeth were fantastic hosts, always helpful and quick to respond. Additionally, there is someone local available to assist if needed, which was very reassuring. Thank you, Elizabeth and Thomas, for all your recommendations on activities and places to visit. We’ll definitely be back!

The bedrooms provide privacy, and the bathrooms are clean. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for cooking, socializing, and enjoying a glass of wine. We did yoga and workouts on the terrace in the mornings. The pool, located at the bottom of the property, is brand new and was a great spot for afternoon beers. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive. We were greeted by a friendly local resident who answered all our questions. The convenience of having a washing machine and secure space for bikes was great. The property is centrally located, making it easy to walk to bars and restaurants. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.
