Overview
The owners of this property have a clear idea about what luxury hospitality is all about, which motivated them to create their own unique luxurious villa. It was originally inspired by Claudia Schiffer's retreat in Mallorca, and in it, we will find almost everything we can expect from a deluxe property.
It is designed for the enjoyment of the whole family. Everything is very comfortable, and all the amenities are close to hand; it is a property that will easily fulfil everybody's holiday expectations.
From the parking area, you have direct and easy access to the house. Both the kitchen and the living room have large glass doors that give you access to the outside areas, allowing for easy and simultaneous outdoor and indoor life. The kitchen is close to the barbecue area, and serving meals al fresco is convenient, efficient, and fun.
On the same level, there is also the pool and gardens, which perhaps provide comfort and luxury that an old rustic house would find difficult to compete with!
The spaces are spacious, airy and bright. All bedrooms have their own bathroom.
Around the villa, there are various fruit trees, so if you coincide with its season, you will also have delicious fruits to savour.
The views are tremendous, and the tranquillity is a joy. Regarding your level of privacy, it is practically absolute because, although some houses are seen in the distance, the position and distance allow you to be out of sight from any neighbours.
The town of Arriate, with its shops, bars and restaurants, is only 1 km away, a manageable 15-minute walk. Some of our favourite restaurants are slightly further away but still a straightforward and quick drive.
The fabulous city of Ronda, which has enchanted travellers for centuries, is 10 minutes away by car. Not only do you marvel at the beauty of its impressive gorge or be beguiled by the charm of its old town, but here you will discover a benchmark in the gastronomy of southern Spain.
For those who are looking for natural spaces within easy driving distance, we have beautiful white mountain villages, rivers, caves, and even the spectacular fir forest of the Grazalema Natural Park, which is another excellent day out.
Welcome to one of our favourite enclaves in Spain: the Serrania de Ronda.
Location
In an gentle valley with fincas and vineyards close to Ronda mountains.
In open countryside, just outside the village of Arriate (1 km away). The access is via a short rural track of about 200 metres, the last part of the track is private and steepish but it is only about 50 metres long. All you need is an ordinary car (although it is best to avoid low engine car rentals).

We loved our stay in the artistically designed house with an abundance of amenities, including en suite bathrooms, swimming pool, outdoor pizza oven and real wood fire place. The town of Arriate is a 10 minute walk and offers lots of great options for high quality authentic Andalusian tapas (and wine!). A short drive to Ronda is another alternative where you can visit the famous gorge (el tajo) and again, enjoy local cuisine. There is a genuine feeling of unspoiled rural Spain as there are very few tourists and the town and local areas have retained their rustic charm.Highly recommended house in a convenient location to enjoy tranquility and true Spanish culture. Jill (the owner) was so welcoming and the home was spotlessly clean and ready for us to enjoy a hassle free stay, we were even lucky enough to indulge in their home-grown olive oil!

The villa is very spacious and can comfortably accommodate 8 people, each room with its own bathroom. Perfect for two families. It has everything that you need for your stay and with so many different zones both inside and outside you can always find a spot to relax. The villa is in walking distance to Arriate and about a 15 minute drive to Rhonda. To really explore the area you need a car. The town of Arriate is small and authentic - and is a gentle stroll of around 2km from the villa. The villa is situated amongst olive groves and upon arrival you could be a million miles away from everything. The villa itself is huge and well appointed and as we had great weather for our week, was a welcome retreat after exploring the many local attractions and of course restuarants and bars. We were fortunate enough to stay during Semana Santa (Easter) and got to experience the devoted processions of the towns people - this is something that must be experienced! Overall - a magnificent stay in a fantastic villa - if we ever return to this part of the world we will most certainly be back!
