Notes on Layout
Although the entire accommodation with the three interconnected units is on one floor and can be practical for people with reduced mobility, the house is slightly elevated from the ground and accessed by a few steps.
As per the previous request, twin-bedded rooms may be prepared as double-bedded.
Although there are eight bedrooms, two of the four in the main house are single, so the maximum capacity is 15 people.
The property owners/managers live in a different house with their own access; your privacy is respected.

Families and friends seeking a five-star resort without having to share with strangers will be curious to hear more about this unusual private villa in the Penedes area. Driving down the dusty rural track, you may wonder what is waiting until you stumble upon the farmstead, unassuming at first, but on closer inspection – a stunning retreat.
This 8-bedroom villa consists of a beautiful four-bedroom cottage and 2 apartments with two bedrooms each, a sprawling pool surrounded by lush lawns, and one of the most incredible pool houses we have ever seen – all this sets the scene for a wonderful holiday close to Barcelona.
This space gets the highest marks for outdoor living, with gorgeous gardens flanked by rolling green lawns and views of the Montserrat Mountains; children can run with a great feeling of freedom.
The 10-meter pool boasts plenty of space for daytime splashing and, when lit up at night, sets the mood for stargazing and al fresco dining.
The pool house is the crowning jewel of this property, comprising a beautiful lounge area with exposed beams and brick, a shaded terrace for drinks, and great barbeque facilities. The whole group or family can gather here together.
Every detail has been pampered to perfection, a theme that continues throughout the property. The owners genuinely care for their guests, and while they give plenty of space for privacy – they live on the lower slopes of the estate and are always on hand should you need anything.
Inside the main cottage, not a trace of rustic farm life remains – everything is arranged across one floor in a modern chalet style. The pine ceilings, cream colours, and well-kept touches make for inviting spaces. The four bedrooms all boast sumptuous beds, as long as 2.10 and with stunning views out across the countryside.
Despite not having en-suite facilities, the wealth of five-star features earned this villa a place in our luxury books.
The large barn has been transformed into a games room, with an indoor badminton court, football pitch and table tennis for hours of entertainment.
When you can bear to tear yourself away, the surrounding area has a myriad of walks and wine making vineyards to explore.
The nearest village with restaurants and shops is a pleasant 15-minute stroll through the forest, and close by, you can visit a wonderful restaurant at the Castle of Orpi.
With the mountains on your doorstep, there are plenty of day trip choices. Bright and buzzing Barcelona is easily within reach, as is the glitzy coastal charm of Sitges. With Penedes being famous for its wine – you can stock up on beautiful bottles to enjoy around the pool.

We had a wonderful holiday at Finca La Pedrera in August. We were 2 families, and the layout of the villa worked very well for us with 2 separate bathroom/bedroom areas and shared communal spaces. The pool house was fantastic - we cooked and ate our dinners out there every night, and the kids loved the games room and the pool. The owners are absolutely lovely and very helpful with recommendations. The finca is very well placed, we took day trips to Barcelona, Sitges, Montserrat Monastery and PortAventura World, all of which were easy to get to, and it was bliss to get back to the gorgeous quiet after busy days out. The local village has some lovely shops for mooching and there are supermarkets within a few minutes drive with lovely fresh food. The market at Capellades (Tuesdays) also has incredible fresh fruit and the local butcher has very good fresh and cured meats. All in all a wonderful holiday - we would highly recommend this villa!"

This is the place for you if you want peace and quiet, beautiful views from the house and garden, a lovely pool, an amazing sports hall for moments of energy, plenty of space for everyone in the house and immaculate garden, two outside eating areas and 5 mins drive to Capellades which has 2 very good supermarkets. Roman (owner who lives onsite) was generous, very helpful and attentive but never intrusive. Its exactly as the photos and description says. Just bring insect repellent!"
