Overview

What we offer here is a Galician villa, set in a hamlet and managed with efficiency and professionalism by a local family.

It is a holiday property with well-kept facilities and presented with good attention to detail.

With a capacity of only 6 people, you’ll enjoy here the fabulous facilities you would expect in a small rural hotel, except, you are the only guests!

Although we are in a traditional hamlet, and we are surrounded by other houses (and many vineyards!!), during our visit we felt there was a reasonable level of privacy with a sense of being in open countryside.

The layout of both the exteriors and interiors is comfortable and easy for a family vacation. In fact, this stone house was completely renovated to avoid any compromise in comfort from the original house. From the outside it still maintains its Galician character, but the inside was fully refurbished to meet the demands of guests who look for a high standard accommodation.

Families with children have been taken into consideration and the pool is properly fenced. If you like proper swims you will love that the pool is decent sized with 12 metre lenght. 

Next to the pool there is a viewpoint with views to the sea and to the town of Cambados. This well-preserved coastal town is undoubtedly one of the great attractions of the area, and is only 10 minutes' drive from the house.

The gardens extend beyond the pool and its surrounding lawns. Within the 3,200 m2 of private gardens and grounds, we find a small oak grove with a stone cottage, this is 'el asador' or the grill house, a fully equipped casita for family gatherings and barbecues. It also has a dining room, an equipped kitchen and a toilet. This is a splendid place to gather with friends and family.

If you are passionate about good wine and food, this region in Galicia will certainly not disappoint you. Here, we are surrounded by some of the best Albariño wineries and restaurants and you will be spoilt for excellent meals.

And if you love authentic off the beaten track gastronomic experiences, you will be happy to know that you are in the furanchos area. This is the unique region of Galicia where you can discover a genuine way to enjoy food and wine, with the locals in the popular furancho bodegas (if you don't know what's a "furancho" you may search the term in Google!). 

If beaches are also important for your holidays, you’ll find almost unlimited fascinating beaches in a range of 10 to 20 minutes by car from your villa.
