Summary
Just 8 minutes from the popular fishing village of Cambados, this pretty wooden cottage offers us an excellent base to discover the Rías Baixas, in southern Galicia. It is a charming and comfortable little house, for an easy holiday with everything very close at hand, excellent for families with children. The outdoor kitchen with barbecue and the lawn area with swimming pool are the ideal ingredients for outdoor living. Inside we find good levels of comfort with a sense of things being in good working order. Sleeps 4 people.

Overview
This self-catering cottage boasts of being exceptionally close to the fishing village of Cambados, as well as an endless collection of beaches within a range of 10 to 20 minutes, some of which are outstanding, like those we find in the natural paradise of Arousa Island.
When we visited this house, we could immediately envisage families with small children enjoying this cheerful and manageable space.
On the plot everything is perfectly enclosed, and you won't find the challenges that other larger rural estates can pose when holidaying with smaller children. At this house it is quite easy to have control over your little ones.
The additional kitchen that we find on the terrace, encourages us to spend a good part of our holidays outdoors. Although the kitchen inside the house is not far from the outside areas either, the exterior kitchen is a great bonus, especially for a barbecue day.
Inside the casita has high ceilings with a lovely sense of spaciousness; during our visit it all looked clean and in good working condition. The wooden floors and ceilings with soft toned colours create a warm and cosy atmosphere. We found it to be a homely house.
Although unlike most of the accommodation offered on our site which is traditional, this house has wooden cladding with a more Canadian than Galician style, but with a very attractive result and above all, with good finishings and good insulation.
Here we are in a residential area where there are other houses around together with vineyards. Despite being less than 10 minutes from a popular tourist resource such as the fishing village of Cambados or the beaches of the Rías Baixas, there is not a touristy atmosphere here.
From the house it is a few minutes' walk to shops and bars and even some furanchos. If you're not familiar with furanchos, don't miss out on this special form of gastronomy and culture, unique to this region (you can search for the term on Google), we love them!
And you may want to explore the Cambados fish auction at 6 pm and enjoy a glass of local wine in a traditional tavern in the historic quarter.
