Dining/kitchen area; living area; Bedroom 1: double bedded room (bed size: 1.50 x 1.80 metres) with en suite facilities (bathtub); Bedroom 2: double bedded room (bed size: 1.35 x 1.80 metres) with en suite facilities (walk-in shower); Bedroom 3: single bedded room (bed size: 0.90 x 1.80).
First floor
Living space: Bedroom 4: master bedroom (bed size: 1.50 x 1.80 metres) with en suite facilities (bathtub), sitting area and terrace.
Notes on layout / sleeping arrangements
Although the house can accommodate up to 7 people, we consider that given the characteristics of the bedrooms, the ideal maximum capacity would be for 4 adults and 2 children.
The single bedded room also has an additional single bed (2 single beds in total).
An internal door can interconnect bedrooms 1 and 2.
Bedroom 2 has its private bathroom; as it is located directly next door, it may also serve as a communal bathroom and be used by bedroom 3 (single bedded) with no bathroom.
Overview
When we say that our stay at this finca will be memorable, we say it without hesitation. There is no better argument than the photos, although to appreciate the beauty of this impressive landscaped finca, we would have to come every season of the year.
This paradise has been forged over the years. It takes many years of arboreal growth to be able to transmit the sensations we experience in these gardens.
Here, you will find exotic and native species; you can walk through bamboo forests or admire the grandeur of sequoias. There will be no season of the year that will not leave us speechless, all to be enjoyed in total privacy.
The estate's caretaker lives off-site, and although he comes two days a week to do maintenance, the privacy is extraordinary. The atmosphere is romantic for the adults, the children will fall in love with everything they see, and the facilities have also been taken very much into consideration.
The playground in the middle of the forest is fantastic. What a bucolic and idyllic place for children!
Tucked away in this delightful forest, we find your accommodation, a beautiful wooden house, an authentic cottage reminiscent of dwellings in other latitudes.
It is not a luxury villa but a spacious, warm, charming log cabin.
The kitchen, with direct access to a porch with outdoor dining furniture, offers the opportunity to eat together in a natural environment of great beauty.
The bedroom suite on the first floor is undoubtedly the bedroom of choice with its own living room and terrace, again with a dreamlike panorama worthy of mention.
The living rooms, with their large windows, were also very attractive.
Both indoors and outdoors, this house got our highest marks for places to relax, read a book, rest or unwind.
Although this is one of those accommodations that trap us and make us lose interest in exploring beyond, we should not underestimate the treasures of this region, which should also deserve some of our holiday time.
Just 20-25 minutes away by car, we have beautiful beaches, such as those of Comillas, or some of the most beautiful villages in Spain, such as Santillana del Mar.
Let's not forget the Cueva del Soplao, for many people, a must-see and just over 30 minutes from the house.
For shopping or going out to eat, we will have what we need in a range of 5 to 10 minutes.

Location
Saja-Nansa Valleys, located between Saja Besaya Natural Park and the Cantabrian coast.
Large private estate in an area of green rolling hills. Access via a narrow country lane from a village with approx. 300 metres of rural track. Short parts may be steep or with humps, but you only need an ordinary car ( but not low-slung sports cars or the lowest engine/car hire group).

We felt at home; Montserrat was very attentive and always ready to help with anything. We really enjoyed our family time; the house was very cosy, peaceful, and the surroundings were idyllic. The children had a great time in the garden. A place to come back to!
