We were so in need of some rest and relaxation! Love the properties on Rustical travel and booking is easy and straight forward, great communication. We had a lost luggage situation which Carmen was really helpful with! We then arrived to the most beautiful and tranquil setting, instantly calming. The home, garden and pool provided a perfect antidote to two tired souls; beautiful and private. Carmen gave great recommendations, the area is beautiful, cultural, full of surprises and life feels relaxed and easy.A perfect holiday, we would very happily return."

Had a truly amazing week. The weather window I hit was exceptional. House perfectly appointed and siting in the garden listening to cuckoos etc was a real highlight. It a superb location. Highly recommended. Carmen was great too. Took some convincing to turn the heating off. I live in Scotland! ?"

We stayed at this beautiful stone cottage mid July 2022. It is situated in the middle of the woods, outside Aracena. It offers a very private setting with places with shade throughout the day. You just have to keep moving your chairs to another corner of the garden. We were pleasantly surprised by these corkoaktrees-woods and to see how many birds we could see flying around there such as the many nuthatches, tree-creepers so close and crested tits that joined us in the evening at the pool area. It was one of the perks of this house for us to see and hear so many birds. The naturalpool is very pretty and refreshing too. Do not expect to go swimming but it refreshing and more a place to soak for a few minutes and look down the hill into the green valley. The overflow part of the natural swimming pool attracts all kinds of birds as they come to drink there. it is lovely to sit there for a while and just observe and enjoy the wildlife. We even saw a fox one of these evenings up at the pool. The many plumbtrees seem to provide food for the blue tits, interesting to see them eat there. And then there are the 2 horses strolling by in the distacne now and then, a reassuring sight as well. The house is quite large for just the 2 of us and we used little of it; the living room only to watch the Tour de France a few times . It was mostly the kitchen we used. The kitchen is quite large too and well equipped. We managed to keep the house , which is without airco, cool enough by opening all windows and doors in the house and in our bedroom in the evening to let the cooler breeze in, but not until it has cooled down outisde. I cannot tell whether this would work in the smaller rooms. There are plenty of towns or villages to see and there are plenty of walks in the vicinity. And the supermarkets are close by on the outskirts of Aracena. Carmen speaks good enough English to communicate with you. She will come 2x a week for maintenance of the natural pool but she will let you know when that is. She was most kind and we thoroughly enjoyed are stay here."
