Absolutely fantastic, the apartment is far nicer than the photos. The hosts were so warm and friendly. We had plans to visit the area, but spent more time enjoying the apartment and the wonderful views. Tranquil balconies to simply relax, with the added bonus of the cooling pool, when it got too hot. We hopefully like to return some day. Second time booking with Rustical, we were not disappointed."

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Gaucin and stunning views all around! Antonia and Salvador were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They were always there to answer any questions we had about the town or nearby attractions. We stayed during the week of La Feria so there were plenty of things to do in the town. Apartment was excellent Antonia Salvatore were extremely helpful and welcoming - they were there if needed but otherwise, did not interfere with our stay. A couple of points - if I was being picky, an English speaking TV channel (news) would have been appreciated (all channels were Spanish speaking) the website states: A basic food hamper with essentials for breakfast on the first day is included. However, this was not provided - although the bottle of wine large bottle of beer were very welcome! But if you were arriving late weren't able to get to the local supermarket, then that food hamper would have been very welcome."

The property is absolutely stunning. It has breathtaking views on both sides of the apartment (to the sea and Africa from one side and to the exquisite mountains on the other side), a perfect plunge pool to cool off in the hot afternoons and it is beautifully decorated with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We could have spent the whole week at the apartment only - we had to drag ourselves out of the apartment to explore pretty Gaucin and it’s beautiful hiking. The owners are warm and welcoming and available for local tips. We would 100% return!"

Booking service was excellent - good clear communication and lots of relevant information before the holiday. Apartment had lots of character and was in a great location. The view from the terrace was amazing. Unfortunately it was a bit too cool for us to use the tub. The kitchen and kitchen facilities were adequate but could be improved. The garage was quite a distance from the apartment if carrying luggage or shopping. All in all a really enjoyable week."

This apartment was absolutely ideal for us. It is beautifully designed and decorated and immaculately clean. Everything we needed was provided. The terraces have spectacular views, especially across to Gibraltar and Africa. Gaucin is a lovely village, there are a number of supermarkets in easy walking distance, plus any number of places to eat. We got exactly what we wanted, which was a quiet relaxing break in beautiful surroundings and have returned home with our batteries fully recharged. Antonia and Salvador and their family were lovely and could not have been more helpful and friendly. This was our second trip with Rustical Travel and as previously we received and efficient and extremely helpful service. We would definitely consider using them again in the future."

The view of the village was amazing. The apartment was part of what can only be considered as the prettiest home in Gaucin. The fixtures, fittings and decor were lovely. We had the most wonderful stay at this absolutely gorgeous property with the most stunning views! The best place we’ve ever stayed in Gaucin - our favourite place on earth. Our 7 month old baby girl learned how to crawl in this place. We’ll remember it forever and hope to return one day. The owners are so delightful and very helpful. Wow...what can I say. The most beautiful apartment in the most perfect location. The service from Rustical travel has been superb right from beginning to end. We were always fully informed and the travel details that were provided were amazing, even down to photos of the route so that we could find the village easily. The apartment was beautiful, a real home from home. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished throughout. Well appointed with everything you would need and so clean.... The owners were wonderful, even down to providing beautiful fresh flowers in the rooms, and the views from the apartment were absolutely stunning. The location itself was perfect. The apartment was no more than 3 minutes from the supermarket, bars and fabulous restaurants. Enough to eat at a different one every night. Fabulous food and great service at every one. All in all, a perfect weeks holiday, like a dream!!!! Thank you Rustical travel for a fantastic vacation and a first class service. I will definitely be booking with you again."

I came across Rustical Travel and this Gaucin property on a google search of rural village properties. From the first email through to making the booking Rustical Travel were very friendly and professional - it was all secured in less than 24 hours. The apartment was perfect , all as described , very clean, very friendly owners underneath and it had everything we needed in it. Amazing views , you can even see Gibralter . Gaucin is a very traditional unspoilt not touristy Spanish Village with small bars and restaurants serving traditional Spanish Food at non tourist prices. There a few small shops selling food and drink . There is also a gift shop and a couple of european independent restaurant for a special meal out. It has everything you need to experience traditional Spain , an ideal base to travel from and plenty local walks - I would suggest a car is essential. A great holiday - I will use Rustical Travel again."

We thought the restaurants and bars were great. Top quality meals and tapas with great service - really friendly and good value.
