Overview
This holiday villa is located in a strategic part of the popular Rías Baixas (Galicia) which allows us easy access by car to most of the highlights of this exotic Spanish region.
It is an accommodation that has made its way into our luxury section. Perhaps it is not at the top end of our listed luxury properties, but the spaciousness, style, quality and comfort that it offers has impressed us enough so as to include it in this exclusive selection.
It was especially the spaciousness of the interior spaces that caught our attention during our visit to this traditional Galician stone house. The stylish living room, which has a conservatory style ceiling, is a cheerful and welcoming space. The furnished outdoor porch with a chill out area is also worth mentioning as one of the irresistible spaces to gather with your family or friends.
The house was fully restored and refurbished in 2020 and a modern decorative style was chosen. We found the result stylish and comfortable as the restoration of this family home has been carried out sympathetically, tastefully and elegantly, preserving many of its original features with delightful touches of art deco
The presence of another house in an adjoining estate means that there are outdoor spaces that could be considered not absolutely private, but the reality is that from this property, you can breathe a great sense of privacy. Large areas of the exteriors and the swimming pool simply remain invisible from the outside.
The motorway that takes you to the coast passes close to the house; this allows you to have access to the beach and other local attractions quickly and efficiently. The location of the road (at a lower level) with respect to the house prevents it from noise, and during our visit we were not disturbed by any traffic sounds.
The facilities seemed perfectly good and the existence of air conditioning caught our attention, an unusual facility in Galician houses which reminded us the particular climate of this area of northern Spain. And yes, in Southern Galicia it can be hot in summer with a number of hours of sunshine per year equal to that of large areas of, for example, Catalonia.
From this lovely villa in the Rías Baixas region, you can reach practically all the most desired locations within 5 to 25 minutes. We must highlight the fishing town of Cambados, which is about 10 minutes away by car, and the selection of beaches just 15 minutes away, which includes the huge and exotic beach of A Lanzada, one of our favourites.
About 5 minutes from the house we can also enjoy popular Galician food, in peaceful village settings, escaping from the overcrowding of other busier areas of the coast during the peak of the Summer.

Next to Ribadumia county in the Rias Baixas. This is popular area of vineyards slightly inland from Arousa estuary,
Residential area surrounded by vineyards close to the main road to the coast.

A refundable security deposit of 300 euros applies to this property. This sum is payable to the keyholder on arrival (in cash) and subject to deductions for breakages/damages, unpaid local charges (when applicable) or exceptional cleaning.

What a stunning house and location! We all relished the contemporary, roomy design with a wealth of character. The fact that each bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom is a great feature! It served as a fantastic launching point for exploring the beaches, restaurants, and wineries of Galicia. Cycling on the tranquil roads was also a delightful experience. There was plenty of room for the younger ones to have their space away from their parents! We were three families, totalling 11 of us, including 5 teenagers, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you!
